I imagined this final product when working on a project with the goal of combining a well-known literary character with a well-known style. With Ariel’s endless curiosity, doesn’t it just make sense that she would become a detective? I couldn’t resist creating this digital illustration in a limited color palette which, thankfully, really lets the red stand out beautifully.
